...quoting simply 'very slow delivery'. this after

21 june - chq arrives for payment
29 june - item dispatched 1st class

out of sheer annoyance, i'm tempted to neg them.

    Well feedback is there to warn other potential trading partners about the transaction, so if the buyer fails to understand how ebay works, and how long cheques need for clearance then a neg could be justified as fair warning to other sellers.

    I wouldn't neg them. Just reply to the feedback saying something like "item was posted day after cheque cleared"

    Then either don't leve feedback or a neutral saying something like "buyer expected me to post before cheque cleared"

    yeah even though i've already replied 'chq arrived 21st june. item sent 29th june. hardly slow is it?' to the feedback, it somehow doesn't feel enough.
