Any good April Fools ideas to play on the family?

I remember as a kid pulling the tops off the taps and swapping them over so the hot tap had a blue ringed top on it and vice versa - however I did both the bathroom basin and the bath. The basin ones were spotted as per April fool - the problem was that as we all mostly had showers the bath ones weren't used for a couple of weeks. Cue my mum screaming downstairs in a panic that hot water was coming out of the cold tap - not amused and the "fool" was very much on me after I had to own up!Adventure before Dementia!0

Wish I'd thought of that one as my husband loves chocolate brownies!
err sorry, if it's a FLAT letter E cut out of paper it won't have the same shape as a brownie... so it will be flat.
Doesn't work for me, but then, people are different.0 -

I'm assuming the foil will be stretched across a brownie pan, and so at first glance it will appear as normal until opened?
But like you say, people are different, and I think it's just abit of fun.0 -
I once sneaked in some weights in a friends bag.
In a previous job, me and a colleague configured a supervisors mouse so that the right and left click were reversed, she wasn't very pc literate and got very frustrated. This also worked when we hit the insert key on her keyboard.
But for excellent pranks, and this one does require a small spend, you can get some realistic looking lottery scratcards that is the winning one (50k or something), seeing people's faces when they think they've won is priceless.0 -
Better hurry up and post, forum is going off for 7 hours for maintenance

By the time we wake up, it will be April fools. Have a good one.0 -

OK I guess that may be worth a smile - but in my house, any cakes/brownies/scones/biscuits whatever, are taken out of the baking tin and put into the cake tin. So would never work.
*still feels that the spirit of "April Fool" has been missed by many on this thread*0 -
Its probably too late now but you should of put a bit of chocolate in there ear whilst they are sleeping and when they wake up it will be melted inside the ear and voi la ear craps better go see the doctor
