  • Its a miracle that prince William managed to get anyone to marry him, obviously it was his money. I dont know who is more of a dog, him or Lupo.
  • Lupo is a Cocker. Probably better behaved than mine :) baby hasn't been mauled, we are talking a split second captured, I don't think we need to go all Daily Mail :)

    It's a nice pic :)

Do you know what that abbreviation means? If not, I suggest Googling it.

You have come onto a thread where someone just wanted to talk about a baby and doggy photo and swear - nice!

There are ways of sharing without swearing you know.

She's not swearing, just commenting. You're just being silly now.

    Not swearing?

Do you realise what the 2nd 'F' in the abbreviation '!!!!!!' stands for?

If Zak said to you " For Fu*k's sake, Mum...." would you not consider it swearing?

Of course I know what it means!!!:)

What I'm saying is that she wasn't swearing...she was abbreviating to AVOID the swearing.

And believe me...Zak would have a job to say "For Fu*k's sake Mum":rotfl:

The meaning is the same whether you use an abbreviation or
    not.
    Fu*k is swearing.

If you want to make a point but not come over too strong, use FGS - that 'for God's sake'.
Or FHS - 'for Heaven's sake'.

how do you know I am not Irish and think the abbreviation is for '!!!!'? or a harmless 'flip'? lol
its an expression of frustration much used on another board- if people find it offensive up here in the rarified air of 'Pets', then of course I will try not to use it, but I do sometimes forget.

and I wasn't 'aiming' at any one poster just to clear that up!

I have always wondered, actually, why the Irish version - with E rather than U - is considered more acceptable.

I'm amazed anyone on here found the abbreviation offensive though.

Must have led sheltered lives, I think.

    I don't find it offensive.
I have - occasionally - used it when I feel FGS or FHS doesn't actually fit my response, usually accompanied by :wall:.

I only commented because Zakmum's seemed to think that 'Fu*k' isn't swearing.

FWIW, I also think 'Fe*k is also swearing, it's just a different pronunciation of the same word.

Another poster did find it offensive and I do think that's just being daft. It's not like meritaten used the full word.
