hsbc student overdraft

does anyone know if they put the overdraft up in 2nd year

    I dont think they do. When I took out my account they said they would increase it by £250 every year but they wrote to me last summer saying that they'd changed their terms and wouldn't be putting it up. I did the online web chat thing and they upped it for me (going into my second year). But they review overdrafts every July so you can ask for it to be upped if it doesn't go up automatically (which I assume it won't).

    With their new rules regarding graduate overdrafts I'd ditch them mate and go to NatWest RBS - infact almost anyone else.
