Euro car park now debt recovery letter- help!

Hello.
I have read various parts of the forums and don't appear to be any clearer so I wondered if somebody/anybody could please kindly assist me.
Circumstances are as follows:
I parked the car in the Aldi car park, Warrington whilst we went for a meal at a restaurant. In the restaurant there is a machine where you enter the car reg and it logs so the car park know your dinning and shouldn't enforce it. The car park has a maximum time of 1 and half hours on it. You don't have to get a car parking ticket upon entry as the details are captured on the way in and out so they can monitor it that way. I thought my husband was entering the reg and he thought i was, as we got distracted with our young children. We have received a pcn in the post and after reading/speaking to people in the local area all the advice was to ignore it. (Euro car parks) They then sent a notice to keeper and subsequently a debt recovery letter has arrived and I really don't know what to do as they want £150 from me and I can;t afford it. Can someone please advice what i should do? Any assistance will be gratefully received x

Read the sticky advice thread linked - which DOES cover debt recovery stage for those who has astonishingly missed the advice (for over a YEAR) to appeal these fake PCNs. I wrote a whole section about 'you think you are too late to appeal' and then added a separate whole post about 'debt recovery' stage with links & info about their drivel letters. That's what the 'Private Parking ticket? Newbies please read these FAQs first' is at the top of the forum for, asking newbies to read it first!
Then search the forum for a keyword such as 'Recovery' to read zillions of others threads before your on the same subject. Use the heading above the threads on page one of the parking forum 'search this forum' next to 'forum tools' and put in a keyword at a time to read similar stuff. We can't type replies about DRP every day - which is why in the NEWBIES sticky thread, you will notice that I suppress a yawn about them. Harsh maybe - but no apologies - I for one am bored with so many unneeded new threads when a simple search finds thousands of threads about the same old stuff covered every day of every week, and when I wrote to NEWBIES thread to stop all this.
A forum works best when you can search it. And this forum's search facility is good & easy to use - please try it. No need for new threads about this at all.
ECP don't take anyone to court - and DRP can't. No idea why you'd believe the threatograms - I laughed at them when ignoring a ECP fake PCN back before POPLA existed.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0
