Heath Hospital , Vinci parking charge.

HI, I have been ignoring the parking charges for 15 months as previous advised and realise that this advise has now changed.
Details : Parking charge in Wales.
I am the registered keeper but not the driver.
The driver worked at the hospital and had a valid parking permit but Vinci put a windscreen ticket on the car for not paying the £1.05 when displaying a staff permit and the other one for not displaying the permit in staff car park but paying the ticket. I had about 6 tickets to start but they only appear to be chasing two.
The parking tickets are from December 2012. ( 15 months ago.)
I have received the threatening letters from Roxburghe and now Gladstones solicitors( or Roxburghe using Gladstones letterhead should I say.)
Gladstones are asking me to contact Roxburghe to pay or discuss the charge of £84 each ticket otherwise costs could increase to £162.25.
Help please . Should I sit back and wait and hope I don't get a LBCC ?

What letters have you received from Vinci and when did you receive them? Also, was the original ticket stuck to the car?0

Yes the original ticket was stuck to the car. The letter was to the registered keeper asking for payment or name of driver etc. Don't know when I received it , its been a long time. All letters have been binned except the last Roxburghe and Gladstones.

If I was you I'd sit and wait. If you get a LBCC then come back here for some more advice, but there is plenty of advice in the Newbies sticky thread, including how to defend these claims if it does go to court.0

A simple search for a keyword (in your case, obviously 'Gladstones') finds stuff like:

Searching the forum always works well. Better than a new thread, TBH.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
