I was looking at this item 180135136967 and as I have now set myself up with paypal was going to use that until I read the following,
my payment method is chq or postal order. however if paypal is preferred confirm at checkout and i will send you revised invoice but will add paypal fees to final bill. i can also offer bank transfer which will be free.
all sales are final.
any offers you submit please make them realistic!
thank you.
Has put me off as she will charge me to use paypal, is that allowed?
Thanks Nicky

Oh dear, oh dear.
'
please note im offering 2 del options one is recorded which will track your goods, other is standard so if item gets lost i cannot be held responsible. thanks
I can't believe they managed to get so much feedback with lousy terms and rulebreaking like that.My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I'm confused.
recorded del is the only option now, as im currently going through a claim process with po and this is a long winded process and its not fair on the buyers to wait up to 6 weeks.
No kidding!
Please note I am not responsible for any items lost in the post
Computer says noooooo.
listing offers standrad del only.
Well, so much for recorded del is the only option nowMy TV is broken!

Agree with Dawn its not allowed and you could report individual regarding this totally unacceptable method of payment.
This route of payment is not by a direct link from the auction, the seller i believe is not Kean to sell by this method due to the additional expenses involved but never the less has offered it by a back door method.
It would not put me off but i would just send a cheque and stand the delay in clearing etc.0 -
Thanks frivolous_fay had not got that far as was not sure about the paypal bit. I tried to read the feedback but only one of the negs showed. There are a few with this sort of thing on then now as well :
I am not responsible for lost items if an item goes missing I will send you proof of postage for you to make a claim.
I thought the seller had to make the claim or am I getting my facts wrong. And just to make sure it is free to make a payment with paypal isn't it. Sorry for the questions just want to know I have my facts right. Thanks for any help and advice given

Unfortunately claiming they're not responsible for losses doesn't appear to be a reportable offence.
Surcharging is, thoughMy TV is broken!
