DLC Debt Collection Agency

Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this. I tried posting it on the Statute Barred thread but I haven't had any response.
I really hope someone can give me some advice. About a week ago I started getting phonecalls from DLC debt collection agency which as far as I can tell is about an Egg loan I had years ago.
I haven't made a payment or even heard from them in at least 9 years, but possibly closer to 10 or 11, so the loan is definitely Statute Barred. My dilemma is this: they don't have my current address or current name (they have my maiden name) so their only way of contacting me is by phone, although I have no idea how they got my number. Should I give them my current address so they can send me the details of the loan (since I no longer have any paperwork related to it), should I send them a Statute Barred letter, or should I just ignore them? I'm thinking that ignoring them won't be particularly feasible as I assume they'll just keep calling me.
Thanks for any help you can give me!

Tell them you can provide an address and your current name, however it is a chargeable service and they will need to pay £2,500 by cheque to a trusted friend of yours as well as provide an address where you can send a receipt to. Once the cheque clears you can provide the name and address within 28 days.
If they refuse to agree to pay your service charge then sadly you are unable to assist them in their quest.0 -
or either
Change your number
Ignore them
They are fools, but will get the message one day when they have wasted to much time and money on phone calls.
Give them nothing, make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
You could email it to customer@dlcuk.com if they have given a ref number?
But honestly unless they are a huge bother it may be just better to ignore. Certainly would not give them info they don't already have.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Fantastic, thanks. I'll just ignore them then. I've got caller ID so I don't even have to answer their calls. If I do accidentally answer one I might just put the phone down somewhere noisy and let them talk to themselves0
