Full Terms and Conditions

1. The Prize Draw is open to UK residents except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

2. To enter this prize draw please complete the online form in full by midnight on 6th April 2014

3. Promotion limited to one entry per household/customer. No entrant may win more than one prize.

4. Illegible entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will be rejected. No photocopies of the paper entries will be accepted.

5. Entries will become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned.

6. There are five prizes of Hive Active Heating™ kits, fully installed, available.

8. In the event that it is not possible to install Hive in a winner’s home, a non-cash prize of equal value will be provided.

10. The winner will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date. In the event of any dispute the decision of the judge is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into

11. The winners will receive contact from British Gas to install their Hive Active Heating™ kits within 28 days of the closing date. If we are unable to contact any of the winners within 28 days of our first attempt to do so, we reserve the right to select another winner for that prize.

12. The winners’ details (name and county) will be made available on request to those writing to "Harriet Mutlow, British Gas, Lakeside House, 30 The Causeway, Egham, Middlesex, TW18 3BY” within ten weeks after the published closing date, enclosing a stamped SAE.

13. By entering, the winner agrees to their image, biography and likeness (if applicable) may be used by the Promoter in unpaid promotional related publicity (including photographic shots and interviews), for a limited period of 5 years from the date of the Draw.

14. By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

15. Your personal details will be retained for 12 months after the closing date and will not be used for any other purpose unless you choose to receive information from the Promoter. By entering into the prize draw, you consent to being contacted by the promoter in accordance with the data protection act 1998. The promoter may contact you via email, phone or text messaging in order to keep you updated about your entry into the draw.
