4p/min calls to UK mobiles Mon-Fri

Hello
I have been trying to beat 18185's 6p/min rate for Monday to Friday calls to UK mobiles.
The provider DialNow offers a prepay account which charges 4p/min (including VAT) at all times to UK landline numbers, undercutting 18185 by a third. You access the account by dialling an 0161 access number, but if you have inclusive calls at certain times of day, then this leg of the call will be free. (If you have an Orchid dialler then you could set this 0161 number up as a carrier code.)
The full list of rates can be found here: http://www.dialnow.com/en/rates.html
But remember to select "Show rates in GBP" from the drop-down box, otherwise you'll see the Euro rates.
Does anyone have any experience of this company? Is anyone able to comment on the call quality and reliability?
By the way, 18185 is still the cheapest for calls to UK mobiles at the weekend (3p/min, I believe).
Hope this info is of interest.

They are part of the same group as 18185 ,The Finerea/Betamax Group who also run 1899,18866, and the likes of VoipDiscount, Telediscount etc etc etc
They have the habit of setting up a loss leader rate for a destination via one of their subsidiaries, and when enough people are interested put up the rate.
If you havent got inclusive 01/02 calls it works out more expensive then indirect access via 18185.
BT connection fee (soon to be ) 6p ,plus cost of geo call, plus small Dial Now connection fee, plus 4p a minute.
Might be a useful service for cable users with inclusive minutes.0 -

Hi
What do people reckon?
Could you
a) use a 0844(via BT) dialthro to their 0161 number so price is 4p plus 1p plus conn fee.
b) use 1899 etc to phone their 0161 number to connect to the 4p mobile number.
Thanks for any views.

They tend to block access from one part of the groups services by dial through/ or indirect code to another.1899 is part of the group.
If you used another 0844 dial through provider not part of group. It would be 6p connection, say 1p a minute, plus Dial Now connection ,plus 4p a minute. So 18185 would still be cheaper,at 5p connection and 5p a minute.0 -
If you are a Primus customer if you add thier free bolt on to your account (one penny mobile) a 20 minute call to any mobile network anytime of the week will cost you a flat rate 20p inclusive of VAT, the downside is a one second call will also cost you 20p, so what i am saying is a call on Primus one penny mobile will cost 20p for upto 20 mins long. Fantastic value if you want to make long calls to mobiles.

Hi
Dialnow have just increased their rates to UK mobiles to 8p a minute.
Cheaper now are 18185 at 6p (3p weekends) or you can try the moneysaving
site but I have found the 5p rate comes and goes unexpectedly.
I have just used 05 pence .co.uk and it costs 5p a minute but you need to be very sharp and check their website (or whoever has todays 5p rate) just before making the call.
Alan0 -
Todays rate for 05pence co uk is now 6p a minute to Uk mobile according to their website. No other 5p callthro is listed.
They do change very frequently.
