My listing has disappeared – *please help*

Hi,
The following item has been listed on eBay from last Thursday (item 160130198213). Every thing has been fine up until today. I revised the item this afternoon to include more information.

The problem is if you try and search for it by anything other than the item number which a casual browser will not know you can’t find it in any of the listings!

It is being tracked fine in my eBay, but I’m worried that I am missing out on potential customers, what could have happened to prevent it being listed on eBay?

Hi , If you revise it once it has been listed it can sometimes take a few hours to reappear back on the system .

Thanks for your quick responses, I know I got plenty of bidders, but it still hasn’t reached what I originally paid for it and I don’t set reserves.

It was edited at 4:30 pm so surely it should be displayed by now?

The reason im so worried it that I have never sold an item that is this expensive.

Is there any way I could of done this while updating my listing?

Also how do I let eBay know of my problem?

It will show up eventually. eBay is just really slow. I listed a few things last Saturday that didn't show up until Sunday. It will come back - it'll just take a few hours. Be patient

Thanks to everyone for your reassurances, indeed this morning the listing is back and searchable. I think its really silly that your listing disappears if its edited, at the very least there should be a warning indicating this.

I think it's silly there's a delay in a lot of items showing up If I pay for a 7 day listing I want a 7 day listing - not 6days and a few hours!! Blummin eBay!

I totally agree with that.

It’s even worse when you edit the item to add more information, like in my case, just one day before the auction ends, it disappeared for at least 6 hours if not more. This is the most critical time, and totally unacceptable.

Luckly for me, it looks like I wont make a loss, but my point is still valid.
