Hello
I really don't want to hijack anyone's thread here, so if this not the proper message board etiquette please do tell me to go away to the appropriate place!
I have a similar problem to OP. The company is the same, and I did follow the newbie guide, with the suggested template letter already sent.
What I received back is a a bloomin' anthology of all the court cases of why paying now would be a good idea. They also offered that should I like to provide more evidence to appeal, I should do so within 14-days of the letter date (which I have now missed).
My question is, how do I respond to their letter? I thought they are obliged to send a POPLA code after the first appeal letter?
Cheers for any help

Others have addressed your other questions - I'll address this point.
In this board we request people to start their own threads rather than hijack someone else's - even if it is the same company and the same location. This is because it can get confusing replying to more than one person - who is the advice aimed at? The OP or the hijacker?
So ... one person's question per thread please, and no hijacking.

Thank you for the information.
Is this sufficient?
You are in violation of the BPA CoP. You have two options:
1). Provide a POPLA code.
2). Cancel the charge
Additionally, I have no option but to report your illicit practice of delaying an appropriate response to the BPA directly.0 -

You need to start your own thread to be fair to Pablojohn. But you could have simply used the letter I wrote in the pepipoo thread linked to the MSE thread in my post #17 above. That's why I linked that advice for you too, so you could see the letter in the pepipoo thread (I post as SRM over there but I didn't think I needed to point that out as the letter was obviously the advice I was signposting you to).PRIVATE 'PCN'? Thank you both for your information. RedX and Coupon-mad.
I'm sorry, I didn't see a relevant template to the situation I was in. I did look around pepipoo and here, and many of the links were cross referenced, but I did not see an entirely relevant template to the PCN delay tactic. I will begin another thread if there is any more information/tricks played by the PCN.
Just as an FYI, and as I believe it to be relevant to this thread, and any number of Parking Eye threads, they have sent a rather lengthy response with the delay tactic. Part of this reads of various court ruling's as to why their charges are enforceable. the document includes an annex of court cases (approx 10) where they claim to have won at court and the defendant was forced to pay up. It was a little scary!

What, so even though the link I gave you above, in the thread linked, said this:
Same advice as I gave this person on pepipoo (my post #16 as SRM) just send a response online as it's free and you know it is received:
Pointing you to the EXACT POST #16 with the letter I had written, you couldn't find it?

May I claim man-vision being the culprit here?
I have now received a POPLA reference code, could you point me in the right direction as to what to do/where to look next? I'll promise to have a proper look, with my eyes and everything! thank you!0 -
The NEWBIES and the POPLA Decisions (start at the end) sticky threads are still your go-to place.
