Terms & Conditions

1) The Promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom who are aged 18 years or over, except employees of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd, The Peninsula Hong Kong and Cond! Nast UK or their affiliated companies, their families, cohabitants, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion.
2) No purchase is necessary for entry into the Promotion. Entries received after the relevant closing date will not be accepted.

3) Entries must be received no later than 28th February 2014/23:59 GMT. Only one entry per valid email address is permitted. Only fully completed entry forms will be accepted. Incomplete or unreadable entries will be disqualified.

4) No responsibility is accepted for any entries that are incomplete, unreadable, ineligible, corrupted, lost or delayed or are unable to be sent due to technical or any other reason, or for any charge by the senders network for repeat entries.

5) Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd and The Peninsula Hong Kong are giving away two return business class tickets to Hong Kong and a three night stay at The Peninsula Hong Kong. Please note only one (1) per person.

Cathay Pacific Prize Terms and Conditions:
1. Tickets are based on two return tickets in Business Class between London Heathrow and Hong Kong International Airport
2. The tickets are not redeemable for cash, non-transferrable, non-endorsable and must be used within the validity dates.
3. The tickets are valid for travel for one year from 6th March 2014. All travel must be completed before the expiry date.
4. The tickets are on a confirmed basis but are subject to embargo periods and seat availability.
5. When contacting Cathay Pacific please provide some flexibility in your dates of travel. We may not be able to confirm your reservations on your preferred choice of dates.
6. In line with the EU Directive Denied Boarding Compensation is not applicable on free of charge tickets.
7. The tickets are valid on Cathay Pacific Airways operated flights (CX) only.

Embargo period:
Travel may not be taken during the following periods:
London to Hong Kong: 26th March - 5th April 2014, 27th - 30th June 2014
Hong Kong to London: 17th - 23 April 2014

The Peninsula Hong Kong Prize Terms and Conditions:
The Prize:
• Three night stay in a Deluxe Harbour View Suite
• Breakfast for two
• Return Rolls-Royce transfers
• 5-course degustation dinner menu for two at Gaddi's
Total value: HK$75,000 (GBP 6,000)
• This offer is available from now until 31 July 2014 (i.e. 6-month validity) and is subject to availability. Black-out dates apply.
• Advance reservation is required.
• This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer(s), programme(s) and/or promotion(s).
• All benefits are limited to once per stay and are subject to availability.
• In case of dispute, The Peninsula Hong Kong reserves the right to make the final decision.

6) The one (1) winner/s will be the first entry drawn at random from all valid and completed entries. The winner will be notified by email within 14 days of the relevant draw. The results of the free prize draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into. If a winner cannot be contacted within 21 days of the relevant draw, the promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to withdraw prize entitlement and award the prize to a substitute winner drawn at the same time as the original. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative for the prize. The decision of the Digital Director is final.

7) At the promoter's discretion the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or any items within it for items of equivalent or greater value, if in all reasonable circumstances the promoter is unable to offer the intended prize(s).

8) The prizewinner's name and county of residence can be obtained by sending a letter within 14 days following the free prize draw to: Cond! Nast Digital, Vogue House, Hanover Square, London, W1S1JU

9) All entries become and remain the property of the promoter.

10) By submitting an entry, entrants acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions and agree that the winner agrees that their name and county of residence may be released if they win a prize, and consent to any post-event publicity.

11) You can opt-out at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email or by contacting Cond! Nast UK and asking to be removed from our mailing list.

12) The promoter retains sole discretion to withhold prizes without liability if in its view a winner is ineligible, the entry is invalid or a winner does not meet the necessary requirements as set out in these terms and conditions. The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the Promotion in the vent of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside of its control.

14) Entry must be made by the entrant, only at the Entry Site www.cntraveller.com/promotions/cathaypacific. Entries made by any other individual or any entity, and/or originating at any other Internet web site of email address, including but limited to commercial competitions, subscription, notification and/or entering service sites, will be declared invalid and disqualified from this free prize draw. The use of any device to automate the entry process is prohibited.

15) To the extent permitted by law, the promoter excludes all liability whatsoever to entrants and the winner in relation to the Promotion and the prize(s) to be awarded.

16) The Promotion and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Worked ok for me in FF.
Long way to go for 3 nights tough..13 hr flight..
Wonder if they would allow winner to stay longer on their own expense..

I know it is up to the promoter's discretion to agree or not, Wonder if that is possible to stay few days longer like as Misa Blue suggest?
Or we will never find out till they award to the winner, that mean I should go for it and cross fingers they will agree with the suggestion?
