I was let go at the end of my probation period. Reasons were very vague along the lines of "not the right fit for the company". They called me into the office, sacked me and asked me to leave the building. Charming when you have worked your backside off for the past 5-6 months, including doing unpaid over time and anti social hours for minimum wage!
Caring perchance? I'm the same story, worked from 7am to 10pm split shifts all the overtime they gave and was sacked in probation because I was running late (on a day where it was heavy snow and on the radio every five minutes was a warning not to go out). I have a feeling they hired too many people as they said in the induction they thought some of us would leave and none of us did."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

If it was in the current tax year then if you get the job the employer will realise you've had a job from earnings stated on your P45.Its amazing how these banks can't even do simple calculations correctly..............0
