Is this correct?

I changed job centre because i moved into a different area and was due to be paid today but i didnt.

I called the jobcentre and they say because i moved my payment wont go out untill next week as ive changed jobcentre.

Is that right what there saying as i needed to pay bills today but have no money to do it now.

Any help would be great.

have you completed a change of address over the phone ?

On esa and i changed over the phone and didnt get paid today because they said my claim is being transfered and i will be paid next tuesday

They have updated their system with your new address then and released payment but it take three days to clear.
I would ring them tomorrow, and ask for a call back, explain you are desperate you were due payment today, and cant wait till Tuesday.
Hopefully they will recall that payment and issued you with a SDB, same day bank payment. if they do this then payment should if there is no problem with your claim eg med cert, go into your account within three hours tomorrow.

You will have to push for this though
