Best option if your are not an existing customer is to apply to BT via Topcashback for £90odd-£150 cashback. Don't forget to claim the £50 Sainsbury voucher as well once the service is running.
Thanks, is the £100 sainsburies and £40 next voucher offer now finished?
I have been reading about it on here but i cant seem to find the offer anywhere..0 -
If you are not going for an LLU service, then Plusnet is invariably cheaper than BT. Quidco are currently offering £100 cashback on a fibre and home phone sign up.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Thanks but plusnet dont offer BT sports as part of the package (as far as i know) and thats worth going with BT for me, since they are starting to get alot of football now.
Does anybody know how long it takes to get BT round to the house to sort it all out, ive read it can take up to 3-4 weeks for an engineer?!0 -
Plusnet do now offer BT Sport as a £5.99 add on-not 'free'.

But then of course it's not really 'free' with BT, given their pricing.
The timing depends on local OR workload (usually high at this time of year), it can be around 5 weeks or more for a new line provision if you don't have an existing BT line.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Indeed, Plusnet don't offer BT Sport as part of their package. But they do offer it for their own users who also have a Sky box installed. As macman says, for £5.99 a mth.0 -
Not having BT Sports bundled in with the BB price was my primary reason for choosing Plusnet instead

As I said you need to evaluated the complete package including cashback on offer and savings from paying the line cost 12 months up front plus call packages if you intend to use the phone. I just received my £100 which was from Quidco as they were offering the highest at the time I signed up in December.0 -
Plusnet are a Sister company of BT (basically run how plusnet wants to run it), but they have far better customer services imho.
I never forget when moved a while back, I was ringing around. Anyway rung up BT, and they wanted to charge me about £150 to install broadband  (may have got their wires crossed). Called up Plusnet, and they only charged m £25 for set up.0 -

It's never finished, just on a carousel that keeps repeating.
Click on the Claim Sainsburys Gift Card button, and read the small print for conditions of claim. It's got a whole set of dates for when the £100 promotion was on, and you have to had applied online as well as other conditions. I just waited for the £100 deal showed up, and then applied online.
They seemed to totally ignore my claim, and I had to call them to get an "incidence number", which apparently filling in the claim form did not generate. Any way, got the £100 Gift Card just after New Year, which I cannot use for petrol and lottery tickets, which is precisely what I want to spend it on! Don't lose it, there is no PIN, they just swipe it at the till and the money comes off. You can top it up with your own cash, but god knows why anyone would want to.0
