Hi,
I brought my Nexus 7 nearly a year ago from Currys. It has already been in with the same fault twice (wont turn on or charge - Lifeless) Now it has happened again. I'm very concerned that it will get "Fixed" again but as soon as I am out of warranty it will happen a 4th time. Not only that but its getting really annoyed keep returning it when its obviously not getting fixed.
Is there any way I can request a replacement rather than a repair that just isn't working?
Thanks
Kelly

How have they been fixing it? Have they replaced any parts or just done a reset?
Has it still been faulty each time you've had it back or does it work for a while then stop again?0 -
They have been sending it away to the manufacture, and I think they just been doing resets. They have been pretty useless about giving me any information.
I will get it back and it will be fine but then if I don't use it for a few days its dead again. :-(0 -
So why not try the reset yourself first?

Note: Unless it is properly turned off (not just hibernated/screen off) then it will still use battery. After a few days in this condition the battery will be pretty flat. These devices are intended to be regularly charged. (Use it until the battery is about 10% remaining then fully charge).0 -
Thanks Bod - I've tried all that, and every other combination advised over the internet as well as charging it for different lengths of time with the correct charger. But its always lifeless.
I read about this problem after the second time it died so I have been sure to turn it off completely and not let the battery get too low, but it's still happened :-(0 -
