Hi
Has anyone had a positive experience with
Home Reversion or lifetime mortgages.
Looking at this for my brother. he is aged 57 and I am his only relative.
I would like to see him enjoy the money he has worked hard for rather than leave it to me.
Thanks
Pam

Also how does it work if you have a small mortgage outstanding on your home0

The mortgage would need to be paid off from the funds advanced under the lifetime mortgage or reversion. Can you provide approximate values for the outstanding mortgage and property value? The borrowing potential under either scheme is going to be limited because of his relatively young age.
Poster Holly Hobby has a lot of experience here so I hope she sees this post and replies.0
