Early repayment savings

Hi, is there an online calculator to let me know how much i would save by doubling up on the repayment? I called to ask the loan company so they would tell me how much i would save but they were not helpful, were only able to say I would save a lot!

    Hey there,

Try a websit called 'whatsthecost', they have a snowball program that allows you to put in all your credit commitments and then play around with payments to see how much you'd save with overpayments etc.

Has your loan company confirmed that you can actually make regular overpayments? My last one wouldn't so I moved it to a 0%credit card for a small fee and saved a lot in interest, it was also very easy to overpay different amounts each month as my overtime fluctuates.

    Good luck :0)
