Hi everyone and hope you are all having a good day.
I was placed in the Support in December, for eighteen months, and am on contributory based ESA.
I also have an ill-health pension of £500.00 per month from my ex-employer.
When you are in the support group for ESA, does the 12 month time limit regarding contributory based ESA still apply?
I'm asking, because my penison would possibly wipe out income based ESA.
Thanks

If you are in the Support Group then payment of conts based ESA isn't time limited and will continue as long as you remain in the Support Group.0

However, even for contributory ESA, benefit will be reduced if you are getting more than £85 pension per week unless you were previously on IB and transferred to ESA and your pension was previously disregarded.0
