Decision in Principle Credit Check

Hi there,
Can anyone tell me what information a mortgage company (Halifax in this case) see when they perform a credit check when issuing a Decision in Principle? I have, in the last couple of days, received a Decision in Principle and am planning to go ahead with the full application shortly but was just wondering 'how much' they already know about me?
From what I can gather, Halifax also credit score (at DIP) as pass A, B or C.....if that is correct, would my Mortgage Advisor be aware of how my application had been scored? I understand this doesn't mean a lot, and only really affects my LTV but from what I can gather it also affects the amount of documentation they ask for. I might have got it completely wrong so if there any active mortgage advisors who deal with Halifax regularly reading this, I would greatly appreciate your knowledge.
Thank you in advance.

Hi again,
I have since submitted my full application. Halifax instructed the valuation the same day (being carried out a couple of days after full application submitted). Monies have been taken for the valuation (they were taken almost immediately upon application of full application).
They immediately requested evidence of Identification but nothing requested since.....is this normal??? Their request has been satisfied!
I have checked the DIP and it says that next steps after that will require two pieces of evidence of ID....as they have requested, plus insurance, fees, etc in next steps, but doesn't say anything regarding any further documentation.
Anybody around tonight to give a little bit of knowledge or insight?
I am a born worrier and just wondering if all of this is a good sign???0
