NationWise Visa Credit Cards - Hacked ?

Hi,

Just received a 'replacement' credit card from the Nationwide, despite only having a auto renewal one in August ?

Being concered this might be someone trying to fraud my account I contacted NW to ask about the new card.

Turns out some of their card numbers " may have been compromised " so different numbered new cards sent out

Someone been throwing our details in the bins again ?? :eek:

Maybe maybe not.

Most stolen details are inside jobs to the company where the details are stolen from. What's more than likely happened is that your CC number has been found on a list recovered by the police.

Nationwide have done the sensible thing and re-issued your card, imagine what would have happened if they knew and did nothing?
