Hi there,
I have the Nationwide select credit card, just as a matter of interest has anyone rung them lately to see if there is any 0% 'customer balance transfer' deals?
My son rang Halifax and they gave him a 12 month balance transfer 0% no questions asked!
Many Thanks.

I have had a Nationwide CC for at least a decade. AFAIK they NEVER offer a 0% deal once you've had one.
AFAIK this applies even if you close the account and re-apply years later. We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.

Over the past 8 months or so I have had a few 0% deals from the Nationwide as an existing card holder - the offer is in the middle of the printed statement...however they have only been for around 6 months at around 3% fee so not really worth it.
More recently when logging into online banking I'm being offered a lot of 7.9% LOB transfers...just thought I'd mention it!0 -
When I telephoned to change my previous NW card (I think it was just branded as "Gold" - I'd had it for years) for a "Select" one about a year or so ago, I was told that I had a 0% offer "on my account". Whether this was triggered by the change or not I can't say though.0

On my Select card I've also had a few 0% for 6 month details, 3% fee. Rather expensive...I've also had a few fee-free 4.9% LOB deals which seemed rather generous.
My limit is £7500. Typically I spend £1K to £2K a month and pay off in full.0
