fixed ISA due to mature

My isa is due to mature at the end of jan. is there a certain time when i should sart to look around for a new deal to insure the money is sat getting a low rate of intrest for as little a time as poss. its been a while since i moved ISA's but am i right in remembering I can set the date for the transfer to happen ie the day after it matures???

    Yes you can. There should be a box on the new providers form saying something like: now/on maturity.

    I would imagine a few days loss of interest will be the least of your worries!

    Good luck finding somewhere!

    Santander and Halifax were the best a few months ago.

    Yeah the rates are dire but theres nothing u can do about it

    i also have another standard ISA that i want to move in with the fixed rate so i have one big ISA . i presume the transfer form allows multiple ISA's to be moved around?

    also any advice on accounts that are easy to use for expats interms of transfering into in the years to come. as ill be moving abroad next year.
