Balance Transfer from UK Credit Card to USA Credit card

Hello,

I was hoping you could take your time to read this and give me some much needed advice.

I have a credit card, that was initially used for a balance transfer back in september 12. I currently lived in the UK at the time.

I am live in the USA and have been paying my balance off, but also incurring charges. Unfortunately I did something that the credit card decided was not part of the contract and now they have removed my 0% I had from the beginning.

I now need to find myself a new credit card(Balance Transfer) with the longest period.

Now I am in a dilemma as I am unsure what my next steps are. I need your help.

1) can I set up another credit card in the UK despite not living there. I do have a physical address there and I am not a USA Citizen but just live here. Where I see the difficultly is putting an UK address but showing my job as a USA job. any pointers or help with this scenario

2)Can I transfer a balance from a UK card to a USA card so I can find it easier to keep track of my dealings over here.

I hope I make sense and you can help me. I'm sorry for quick explanation but I am needing to resolve this very quickly.

Probably worth calling the card company and telling them you have moved abroad. They may come to some arrangement.

Some vendors such as Amex may allow the balance to be transferred to a US subsidiary, allowing for a US balance transfer to take place.

Issue is that I have lost my 0% with them so not sure they will work towards me being in USA as its the 0% that I am needing.

I will look up Amex and see what they offer, thank you for that lead. Hopefully can get it sorted before I incur extra charges
