Hi all,

Its a Miller Homes new build, and I know there are some restrictions im hoping to buy the freehold and do some work to it.
Where could I find this information out?
Thanks

Normally within the Land Registry forms from your solicitor. You can also download from Land registry website.0

Thanks but what exactly is the name of the form I need?0

You don't need a form to check the register/title plan as you can view and download these online for £3 each here
However you refer to 'restrictions' which is a term we use for a specific entry on the register itself and I suspect you mean restricitons imposed by Miller as the builder - is that correct?
If you do then it is most likely that what you are really after is a copy of the Transfer (the deed whereby Miller sold the property in the first place) and this should be referred to on the register. The Transfer by a developer/builder will often include a variety of informaiton relevant to the plot/house and development as a whole inc rights of way, drainage etc as well as restrictive covenants.
To obtain a copy of that Transfer you would first need to check the register for the date and then submit an application using form OC2. This is a postal application only i'm afraid and costs. Our online FAQ explains the process and supplies a link to the form. The current fee is £11.
But before you apply for anything do check the paperwork you received at the time of your purchase as you may have a copy of the register/Transfer already of course.“Official Company Representative

Is it still an active site?
We have restrictions like no sheds, no commercial activity or vehicles but they are all ignored as the development is finished and the developer does not care anymore.0 -

These are referred to as restrictive covenants on the title and again you would be looking in the first instance for the Transfer form the Developer to the first buyer for such details.“Official Company Representative
