A Clock was correct at midnight showing 00:00.
From that moment it began to lose three minutes per hour.
The clock stopped two and a half hours ago showing 15:12.
What is the correct time now?
The clock runs for less than 24 hours.
In case anybody wants to try it themselves I have blanked out my answer - If you click and hold your mouse button down on the words "Suggested Answer" below then drag your mouse down the page the answer will be revealed.
Suggested Answer:-
Answer = 18:30
15:12 = 912 minutes
It takes the clock 912/57 = 16 hours exactly to display 15:12
16:00+2:30 = 18:30
(previous questions like this have shown that the 3 minutes per hour means 60mins real time = 57mins on the clock and NOT 60mins on the clock = 63 mins real time)
Answer last month = Severn, Ouse and Clyde. Winners: K Foxley, Derby and M Hirst, Cardiff
