I saw megadeal signs in Boots airside at Heathrow recently, I bought one.:smileyhea "here, hare, here" :smileyhea0

Gatwick arrivals Boots definatly has the meal deal literature up, i'd have thought it was to do with the fact that particular Boots is situated near a foody outlet, so its in their contract not to promote food sales or something! As a previous poster said, contracts for operating in an airport are very strict!0

Meal deals are definitely available, and advertised as such, in the landside branches of Boots at Heathrow.0

Just to let you know that if you join the Boots Heathcare Club (a bit like the parenting club) you can get certain products half price when you use your Advantage Card, this includes-
Brecon Careg - 1 litre Water Normally 99p
Instead you pay 49p for 1ltr water! This is good value as normally other shops airside charge about £1.30 for a litre especially now you cant take your own water through security!
I wasnt sure if the offer would still apply at the airport Boots but it worked for me at Gatwick two weeks ago!

BAA may be a problem - but even bigger than this is the current situation where the "BIG PRICING COMPUTER at BOOTS" is overcharging and has been for about 6 weeks and they seem slow to correct it. The "Meal Deal" is priced at £2.99 - with a Boots Advantage Card you get 10% discount on Boots Products - the SANDWICHES ARE - so the cost should be £2.71. It was this price until mid August, then some person in the IT department made an adjustment and it is now £2.81. When I showed this to my local store manager - he agreed it was wrong, rung head office, who also agreed it was wrong and said they would look into it. Guess what they still haven't. Every Boots store all over the country has been stealing £0.10 per Meal Deal from every single customer who has used his ADVANTAGE CARD to get a discount. This could be a large sum of money.0
