False advertisement??

Hello,
I purchased a samsung galaxy tab3 10.1 from very.co.uk on Black Friday! They are usually around 280-330 pounds!
It was advertised at 129.99 so I purchased the item and received confirmation that it was being processes. The next day I looked on the account and seem that it was rejected, have them a call and they advised me that it was an error and should have been 250 pounds. I refused to accept this and have a screen shot of before and after the item was purchased. Originally I was told there was nothing they could do but then advised me they would look in to it! Do I have am argument in this case?? It's not like it was advertised for 2.50 or 25 pounds it was completely different to the amount they intended to sell it for!
Thanks

No they don't have to honour a misprice unless a contract was formed. As this wouldn't have occured until the order had dispatched you have no legal right to insist on getting it at the incorrect price. They may be sympathetic but don't hold your breath.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, same product/price/ordered on Black Friday..! You can't believe they can do this (clearly they never intended to sell it for this price, just to draw you in) but TadleyBaggie is correct, they are not bound to sell it for 129.99. But it does leave a bad taste and hopefully others reading this will take note... small crumbs...!0
