ESA and ill-health pension exemption?

Just received word that I will be placed in the ESA support group.
While on Incapacity Benefit, my ill-health pension did not affect my benefit because I'm on the highest rate of the care component of Disability Living Allowance. I see that for ESA it's a similar situation.
"If you receive contribution-based Employment and Support Allowance and have a gross pension income of more than £85 a week, the amount of benefit payable will be reduced by half of the excess".
But I don't see any reference to an exemption from this if on the highest rate of the care component of Disability Living Allowance as was the case while on Incapacity Benefit.
Does anyone know if the pension exemption still applies in ESA if on the highest rate of the care component of Disability Living Allowance"?
Thanks.

I can find very little information about this and no mention of DLA.
However, this link http://www.cpag.org.uk/content/incapacity-esa-transfer-and-reassessment
says that if you transfer for IB to ESA and had an exemption for your private pension whilst on IB then the exemption would continue under ESA.
But this link is dated 2011. I do not know if there has been any amendments.
In the event that no one else can confirm this then I would telephone them and ask.0 -
Many thanks for that. Like you, I couldn't find anything really to explain what happens after the change to ESA.
I think from the link you sent that it looks like it will be OK. I will call the DWP just to be sure.
Thanks again!0
