Trust fund: issues with solicitors

Hi there,
I have a house and savings that are currently in a trust fund managed by a solicitors.
The solicitors seem to be very controlling of the my fund and it's getting be a real pain to get my cash for things like house repairs etc,
I even wanted to move once, found a buyer for my place and a property to move too but the solicitors refused it because the new property didn't have a driveway?!!!
Now I'm not massivly clued up on how trust funds work but cant help but think that the reason behind the sols being so awkward with my money is that they are getting some financial gain out of it to, hence the delays and refusal of my requests!
I'm guessing there may be many other factors to take into consideration but I would like to get some more understanding of it all and check I'm not being ripped off.

Have you asked them?
Are the solicitors the trustees or do they just act on their behalf?
What are the terms of the trust deed?"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Have you seen the Trust Deed? What powers have been given to the Trustees? Who are the Trustees?
What type of Trust is this? http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/trusts/types/0 -
