Hi
I left a deposit on a mobility scooter on 16th August 2013. The company promised delivery in two weeks.
By mid september still no delivery and I was told that their stock was held up at the docks. I went to this company because they advertised that they manufactured their own products. They are actually made in Taiwan!
I cancelled the order because they could not deliver as promised and asked for my £100.00 deposit to be refunded. They said it would take about three weeks.
We returned from holiday on 4th November and asked why the money was not refunded their reply now is that as I left the deposit on my credit card, I have to travel to their premises in Leicester to present my credit card for repayment. Has anyone experienced this before.

PS I live in Springburn - grew up on the Balgray and live in Stobhill now. Unless there is one in Derby too!

Sorry about the delay in replying, I wrote to the Cc co and had my money refunded two weeks later. Many thanks for advice received.
