Do you remember my dilema with the parcel force parcel to europe, well, it was sent global riority with p/f took a week to arrive (went out for delivery 3 times) and now she says...the motor doesn't work and bits are missing.
This was in full working order prior to sale, nothing was broken or missing, sent in original packaging.
She is saying what will I do? As its the postage was 56 and the item was worth 50 odd too!
Help and advice please!!!

You need to ask her to take a picture of the damaged items.
If the item is damaged then I would offer a partial refund, it would cost too much to send back and would not be worthwhile!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

I don't recall your previous thread, but there's been some good advice about similar mysterious working when sent/ broken when arrived threads.
I'd start by getting them to explain what & why it doesn't work & what;s missing. is it just a case the battery has run out or they've dropped something when opening the parcel, or not read the instructions.
I presume there were no missing bits, & that it was properly packed originally. If, however, the item has been damaged/ bits lost in transit (which their reposnse to the questions above should help establish) you might be able to claim from PFW, however you may need the item returned to make the claim.
Depeneding on how the next couple of emails go, you could offer to refund if the seller returns the item (so will cost them £50ish to get £50 back). You can remind them they will need to send it by a tracked service to conform with ebay rules etc. When you have received the item & verified its the one you sent (cos you could tell the buyer you have the original serial number/ secret mark/ UV postcode on it), then you'd be happy to refund their purchase. From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings

If the parcelforce site shows it's damaged, I think you have to give the buyer the benefit of the doubt.
Hopefully you qualify for compensation from PF...?My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
I shall ask for photos, so that I can claim from parcelforce, personally I think that it was damaged by the Danish Delivery agents, they had the parcel from the thirteenth and then it went in and out of the office for delivery (its a big parcel weighiong over 10kg) until today where it says it was damaged but deliverable.
I shall refund after looking at the photos but how much The total as I have said is 109, 58 delivery and 51 for the item and do I ask for my item back or not?
I think photos will help any claim too.
Ii am just sick, I cannot afford to lose this money!0 -

I have asked for photos, (I have made a claim too from PFWW), however she is too busy to take them just now!!!
TOO BUSY!!!!!!! :eek::eek:
So what should I refund and when, given that I transfered my paypal so that I could pay the postage by cheque (in other words, even transferrering the remainder back I would only have half available. I dont get paid for another 2 weeks, when I go on holiday!!.
I can see both sides, I would be upset if I had bought a machine that arrived broken...BUT at leastt I would have taken some pictures!!0 -
"too busy" just sounds like an excuse, doesn't it? You should tell her there's no way you can arrange a refund without showing evidence of the damage. Surely she'd need to provide this to make a paypal claim anyway?:www: :: MFi3 ::
