Advertising a 30 day completely free no obligation trial to get you to sign up is there header, the 99 pence they take from your credit card is returned with in two days as its just to check your credit card details but, when you have completed the application they then send you an email advising that your address don't match your credit card details and therefore you are not entitled to a trial period. Can anyone tell me , as this is a security issue with this company why is it they then take £14.99 for one months rental of which they have done.

Something must have genuinely gone wrong for you there.
We have signed up for the 1month trials from Global, Blockbuster and Screen Select, and, interestingly enough, at the end of the first month, if you change your card details, they think you are a new user, and therefore send you another month free!!
We have had hundreds of free dvd's to watch from these!
Have stuck with Blockbuster for now as they have about 21,000 titles, which seems to be the most choice!0
