Essentially it makes no difference. Apple has a worldwide warranty on virtually all their products. I've made use of it and my neighbour who buys ALL her Apple stuff in the US seems to warranty claim every few months because her kids drop their toys constantly.

The only thing to note is the new retina iPad Mini will be along later this month and will cost £319 for this config.

Will everything work the same / be compatible with everything like a uk version would? Have got 2 to buy so will be saving a fair bit getting these

Yep, should be. I bought my hubby an Ipad mini in the US and it's perfectly fine.

Its identical, you just need to select English UK etc when setting it up.

    Probably why it's got a £100 discount:)
  • Not really a £100 discount! Can get them for £229 at the moment through Tesco. £200 is still a very good price though.

    I wouldn't say it's a 'discount' more a 'price reduction'

    It's a good price, but it's £227 on Amazon. I'd call this a '£30' price reduction, not £100
  • Looks like they are OOS now anyway
