Teachers ill heath retirement - HELP can I apply??

Hi All
I don't know if anyone can help - don't want to depress people either:eek:, I am a cheerful person most of the time :j - you will understand why I say that when you read on.
After recovering from cancer last year I returned to work quite rapidly - no probs - ok probably a bit tooo soon - some after effects but 'cured' with surgery and now monitored closely in case it returns.
I have cervical spondylosis which gives me pain and pins and needles down both arms I have had for some time, I have to take pain killers to get through the day. Now I've started getting joint pains constantly which stops me sleeping, I am knackered all the time. Dr suspects fybromyalgia or arthritis.:( Whilst I would prefer to trade my body in I am stuck with it, I don't feel I can do my job anymore, depression setting in and anxiety over what is going to happen now.
Has anyone or does anyone know if I would qualify for IHR I am on highest dose pain killers I can have for the CS so don't worry I am in la la land most of the time. God knows what they can give me for the other pain but don't see how I can work with all that med.
Any advice?:rotfl:
