I paid off about £300 to Argos last month and now its saying closed account satisfied on my credit report.

Obviously I know lenders can still see it was a default until June 2017 but am I right in saying it looks better that its satisfied and all the money was paid in full?

Not looking to take anything out just a general query.

Thanks

Marginally better, yes. But not a lot.

In a few years the age of the default will make much more difference for most things.

Thanks, its the only real bad thing on my report so just going to wait until it goes away before a mortgage application or anything like that.
