    Our solicitors have sent us a form to state what we will be leaving so guessing that isn't the case?

    No, there are some things which is assumed are left unless you say otherwise, but the point at which you 'say' (legally) is on the Fixtures/contents form.

    Of course, it may be helpful to mention at viewings if you're planning to leave stuff which you'd normally be expected to take (or take stuff you'd normally be expected to leave),and to let your agents know if there are things you are prepared to consider offers on, so the potential buyers are pre-warned.
