I have a flat in London that I would like to let shortlet on airbnb.
Does anyone have experience of insurance for this type of letting? Looking for advice and general premium costs for contents, public liability, etc
Thanks!

" Shortlet on airbnb"
what does that mean ?
Without knowing the size of your property, floors, location etc how can anyone give you an idea.
Give Swintons, Direct line, Admiral, or comparison websites all the details and see what they come up with!
You might even get a free Mercat0 -
"Airbnb" is a website generally for renting to a lodger on a short-term basis to visitors to the city, usually for a night or two or maybe by the week.
If the OP is not resident then they will need to acquire landlords insurance and also ensure that their lease allows for sub-letting.0 -

You need specialist holiday let insurance, unless you will also be living there. I have no experience. Ask either on the Insurance & Life Assurance forum, or go to an insurance broker.
Do you fully understand all the other requirements for holiday letting?
