help with postal charges to newzealand? asap please

i'm selling some curtains on ebay and a potential buyer has asked how much to post to new zealand
i am new to ebay and am unsure if i this would be okay
i can't figure out how much to charge
the post office is shut until monday and the bidding finishes tomorrow
can someone tell me the charges i will have to give and any thing else i should take into consideration
the curtains weight about 1300 g

ISF (International Signed For) this is like our Recorded Delivery will cost £3.50 on TOP of the price. I fully recommend using ISF.
I suspect £18.00 should cover the total postage.

It’s not completely the same. You don’t get any feedback that your item has reached its final destination. With Recorded Delivery, the Royal Mail website should give you information once it’s been delivered. You can now even expect to see a digitised copy of the signature there, for free. For your curtains, you could consider the relatively small extra for Airsure. Airsure does not involve getting a signature at the other end, but it does give you feedback. The postal worker scans the bar code on the package once they’ve deliver it. You should see confirmation shortly after delivery, on the New Zealand Post Track & Trace page. Several days later, this fact should turn up on the Royal Mail’s own track and trace system.
