Barclaycard balance transfers

Phone up to cancel and say that you are looking to get a balance transfer card. That should trigger any offers.
Obs not with Barclaycard card.0 -
Is that how you close them down now, I remember calling up to cancel a card I didn't want and they insisted writing to them0

Try Lloyds and Virgin, both were offering 0% deals for under 3% fee recently.
I ended up going to Barclays, 2 years 0% for a 3.9% fee.0 -
Will the likes of Lloyds offer this on an existing card that is not being used or will they want you to take out another0

The only way to know what they will offer you as an existing customer is to phone up and ask them (or check your online banking if you have them).
It is worth doing that as a first step. If they don't offer you anything or you don't like the deal then try applying elsewhere.
Already having a lloyds card means you would be unlikely to be accepted for a new account with the latest 0% deal they offer to new customers, so try applying to an issuer you don't have any cards with.
In terms of which cards are issued by which banks this list may help you http://www.stoozing.com/credit-cards/credit-card-suppliers.php-A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
