Spa Break near Transport Links.

Looking for a 2 night getaway somewhere over the Winter months (preferably a weekend). Nothing too expensive, only after realistic prices. I am mainly after a spa weekend so somewhere with an indoor pool and facilities would be great.

I want somewhere to go and escape but at the same time still be close by to shops, restaurant and most importantly transport links. I do not have a car currently, so will be relying solely on buses, coaches or trains. I want something that is relatively hassle free, as most spa hotels seem well out of the way of towns.

I live close to Birmingham, and I am not looking to venture too far out. Mostly interested in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Cheshire and Wales spa breaks. Others will most certainly be considered.

there are a few of them in birmingham / coventry area but i dont know the area so dont know how far from public transport
