Do not use bt

What a dire company, has anyone ever tried to get a problem rectified with these people ? For a so called communication company have you ever tried for them to communicate back ? Live chat, forget it, false promises by text, email, phone calls, YES !!! i spent at least 3 hours yesterday on the phone to try and get a tel no. back which was promised by their operator would be back on THE SAME DAY, but 2 weeks later we are still back to square one. You cannot trust one person, dont even think about talking to their order department, it seems like they are now located abroad. You try and talk to a supervisor ? They cut you off. This happened 3 times yesterday. Coincidence, no chance......
I have never dealt with a company like them. Their customer services are a joke. For someone who has worked in customer services for 10 years, I would sack the lot of them.

Write to your MP complaining about BT. Seriously, if we all do it they may look again at BT's currently privileged position, and make them compete properly for customers. At the moment they abuse customers because they know that they have an almost endless supply of people who feel they can't go anywhere else.

I used to think that. I am coming around to the idea that BT do not want a retail telephony business, they want their customers to go away so they can shut it down and concentrate on Open Reach and selling telephony and networking to large businesses.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

Me too, by both Indian and UK representatives (four in total in one day; maybe they're trying to earn a bonus!).

I intend to post every day on this forum what happens. I did finally get through to a so called supervisor abroad in the order department, he ended up laughing at me, when i asked him what he was laughing at, he replied that someone was messing with his headphones...... If a so called supervisor cant take your call seriously, what chance have you got....
    BT are an absolute joke.......
