Hello,
We flew with Monarch Airlines (MON5214) from Gatwick to Hurghada, Egypt on the 2nd Sept 2011. We were delayed for approximately 4hrs. I had all the info written down but, unfortunately, I had my Filofax stolen along with all the info!
I have checked the website MSE suggested but was met with a message that the flight is UNKNOWN.
Any suggestions as to where else I can check the information?
ANY help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

MON (Charter) flights are seldom recorded on Flightstats but Coby may come along with some info but you would have been better posting on this thread > https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4384583 however EU claims at Monarch may also give you an answer if you ask nicely.0

The flight departed at 15:46 the aircraft used was G-MONJ0

You don't need to be 100% sure of the flight times to claim. All that matters is that your arrival delay was over 3 hours.
The airline can reduce the compensation by 50% (i.e. to 300 Euros) if the delay was less than 4 hours though. If they try to do this then you should ask for proof that the delay was < 4 hours.
As the departure was 5h 17m delayed and the flight time is 5h 20m we can be quite certain that they didn't make up 2h 17m in the air and I'm pretty sure they couldn't have made up 1h 17m either.0
