PAYE Full time income + extra income

Hi,

I need advice on PAYE. I have a full time job paying through PAYE. Now I am also doing Freelance work doing part time software development, depending on the work that I do, sometimes I could earn extra £600 to £1500 gross in a month on top of my FT work salary.

How do I declare this and how does PAYE computation works out my total tax, taxable allowance. What forms do I need to fill in?

You need to register as self employed with HMRC. http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/selfemployed/register-selfemp.htm

And you will need to complete a self assessment tax return after the end of the tax year.

When you complete your tax return you will then end up with an additional tax bill for the year. It sounds likely that it will be too high an amount to be collected by a correction to your following years tax code, so you will need to pay the remaining tax yourself.
