No headphones would be another great one. People listening to music or on the phone while at the counter is INCREDIBLY rude.0

I would imagine the PO will leap on the growing ban on Google Glass before the product has even been released to the general public

My local post office has the same sign up.
Almost everyone who works there is lovely and I've been going there for years. Wouldn't dream of going to any till whilst on my mobile. It's just basic etiquette isn't it. And will always switch my phone off or on to silent in places that request it.
But one day I was in the post office for my mum and the boss who I absolutely can not stand was serving. My mum called and as I was saying 'I'm in the post office I'll call you back in a second'. The boss very loudly told me I couldn't use it as it effects the machines and I would not be served whilst on my phone. So I asked her how it effects the machines. I asked her to give me the reasons for this rule that required her to make a show of me in public, needless to say she had zero idea how my phone would effect anything. I politely told her that all she had to do was ask and had she not decided to make an example of me I would have been off the phone, served and gone.
As I said. I'll then my phone off in any place there's a sign. Or not use it in places that ask. But attempting to make a show of someone like that is out of order.Sigless0 -
