Afternoon All,

Does anyone use the long reaching hedge cutters? They appear to have the same handle as a strimmer, my question is can the head be replaced for grass strimming and what sort of prices do these sell for?

Thank you.

You can get multi-head tools from about £150 for a Joe Bloggs jobbie to around £600 for the equivalent from Stihl.

Obviously, the Stihl product will be better, but it depends how much the tool will be used as to how cost-effective it is.

Honda have just brought out a new 4 stroke multi-tool too. Again, it won't be cheap, but it's likely to be reliable.

Or do you mean an electric multi-tool.....?

Stihl is my preferred choice with both my hedgecutter and strimmer being of that brand while my mower is a Honda.
  • Mitox is a well made brand and like Stihl has spares available ~(some cheapo's don't) Cheaper than stihl but not a cheapo.
