Having two jobs questions

Following on from my other post about problems with work, I had an interview for another job today. They asked when I could start I said asap as I would be working evenings and I can do that with my current job, I would hand my notice in.

But it might mean I overlap with having two jobs at once, they are both 16 hours.

Now who I need to tell I have two jobs? all the people who pay me things? Do I say it will only be for a limited time? Will it change my tax code and then back again?

Will I need to tell my current job I am working two jobs? I am hoping, might be leaving they will not make me do the months notice as they don't think I am fit to be there and want rid of me anyway.

Just don't want to get in trouble!

you fill in a p46 for the new job.

If the current job try to get you to leave early be careful not to lose the notice pay. Do not agree to shorter notice only garden leave or PILON.

check the contact for notifying you are doing other work.

It says a months notice for them. So I ask for them to put it as Garden or PILON if they ask me to leave early?
