I currently work part time and earn about £8k so I don't pay tax etc. i have taken on a second job temporary just now and hope to get at least 8 hours per week minimum. How much tax will I pay on second job? Will the extra non taxable allowance be carried over to second job? The rate of pay is NMW for second job.
Thanks
Thanks

It will carry over but I'm not sure if you will be taxed at the basic rate (20%) on your second job and the you'll have to claim it back at the end of the tax year0

I'm a contractor through an umbrella company and decided to go Ltd. Company got set up but the contract ended so I never actually started using the company.
When I got my tax code for the next year; I got my proper tax code on the company and basic rate for the umbrella company; so like Lottie say, you may get basic rate on the second job and have to claim it back.0
