Next questions

I have applied for a vacancy in next as a stockroom assistant and have an interview/assessment next week. The role was advertised as various hours? Is that another way of saying zero hours?
I currently have a part time job but I am getting married next year and have childcare costs so the next job will be a little extra for us.
Also is it minimum wage for someone over 25?

It might be shifts that you will be given once you get the job based on whats available.

In the various retail jobs i've had in the past, i usually got a list of available shifts to pick from during my interviews.

just ask in the interview how it will work, if it turns out to be a zero hour contract, you could just refuse then look for something else if thats not what you want
